Description
This is a quirky tune featuring Hoss Von Liederhosen ... It's an "old-time / Rag time / Stride" Kind of tune... Hoss really did a majority of the work here... I provided the piano, drum and bass tracks.. Then Hoss played Bb clarinet, alto clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, trombone, euphonium and sousaphone as well as writing the lyrics... He did the vocals along with his wife Peevette... Hoss is an outstanding musician and it was an honor to work with him...

Oh Yeah, remember this.... You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube......

deeee.... lish
for some reason, this reminds me of "The cat came back" (music from that hilarious Canadian film short) which is a great thing to be reminded of... loose and groovy, great music, smirky singing, and nice arrangement and sweet playing on all those instruments (including the wife!)

Good stuff, I'll be smilin' and tappin' my toes all night!

This is a blast! Concept and vocals are spot on. Great band sound. Catchy chorus. Love the horns. Cool solos. Great arranging & production, too.

Major yucks in a minor key!
Gimme that stride, can't get enough of it. Alotta happiness you pack in between these minor chords, but then Cab Calloway did that to great effect. Hell, he could sing St. James Infirmary and make me laugh. Again, love the stride and you obviously (collectively) had loads of fun here. Cheers!

One man band
I love that one guy overdubbed all this. I dig the New Orleans feel, especially the trombone. I think many of the instruments could stand a little boost in the low mid EQ area to give them more depth. Thanks for sharing this. There is a twinkle in the eye of that singer, for sure.
