Description:
well another song about livin. i love my new guitar . i have also been reading bob dylan's new book.
Lyrics:
i just want to go home where my babies are waiting for me/ i need a ladder to get out of this hole the holes getting deeper but the sides are still straight/ im not ready to seal my fate so im down in the basement building a ladder/ wind howls outside not making a sound/ the roads are all slippery babe there all oiled down/ im thinkin about california when i was seventeen i had everything i needed on my back/ / where my babies are waiting , they are waiting for me/ i just want to go home / i just want to go home / i just want to go home / where my babies are waiting they've got supper on the table tonight/ our beds so warm in the middle of the night/ as i run out of gas i think about delight/ as i cover my head from the dirt falling down, as i reach out tohold you but you are no where around/as i close my eyes i can see down the road/ as i take another step as i try to switch modes/ as i reach into the future and i grab hold real tight as i lay next to you i drift into the night/ i just want to go home /i just want to i just want to go home where my babies are waiting for me

Another great song! &mdash 01/16/05 - 12:28:52 AM
Really like the backing vocal and the guitar solo at the
end. The ahhs at the end stop abruptly. Maybe fade them
out a few seconds longer and slower. [ Reply to This ]

I like the song a lot. Very real in the sentiment and
performance. I agree that the end cuts out rather
abruptly. Overall, it sounds like there's too much trebel in
the mix. Someone more expert than I could probably tell
you exactly what equilization changes you could make to
fix that. [ Reply to This ]

Love the song...i was a little curious how the song was going to come together in the beginning, but I became a captive audiece. Love the vocal harmony. The faint voice is great as the main character. Cool guitar - nice and simple. The production quality is very good, but I think a recording studio would make this song a hit...that and a tighter ending. 9 8 8 8 [ Reply to This ]
