RE You have some pretty good insight as to how I produced this. I wrote that beginning part after watching Koyaanisqatsi about a month ago, and sort of discarded it. A few days ago I took this back out and had some fun putting orchestral instruments in there. It came out really electronic sounding because it was all on midi instruments, so I ran all the parts through my guitar effects pedals to get that lo-fi sound. Check out my latest song called 86

Isn't this number 7 with a few new sounds? I still like but still I think too many PBs for my taste! Keep working on it... It has serious potential. Check out my latest song called My 911

Henke
going on here, at times it sounds a bit like ol' Tangerine Dream (but then they say I hear them in just about anything). Yeah, and there are bits sounding like they were inspired by Philip Glass and his Koyaanisqatsi too.
With that said there are some things I(!) would have done differently, e.g. those bendy things early on and some of the low-fi sounding sections (don't know exactly what's causing that or if it's intentional).
Still, I like what I hear and hope to hear more from you and perhaps even of this piece.
Take care,
Henke
