Very nice first post The first is the toughest! So cute you two doing this. Couldnt get my wife to do this in a million years, lol. Great job here! Great pitch and tone. For a lady with mic fright, this sounds terrific. I suspect that when you let go of the fright, your vocals will get even better - noticeable even as the song progresses. There's A Light w/lilmom Very nice. Of course Sylvia's backing is spot on. But what's really impressive is how the quality of your vocal performance has improved since your first post. Thanks folks for takng the time to listen and to welcome Katy, we love Sylvia and her piano playing is so goooood, and her original scores are just so perfect for writing lyrics and melodies to, This was frustrating to do because Katy does have huge mic fright and I only make it worse by getting frustrated! ;-) and I wish you could here her when she's not thinking about it, just singing, but I know she'll get there, thanks to Sylvia for sending me this to write to, that was a huge compliment and an honor, Sylvia is just plain awesome! Nice first post Great soulful song. I do wish the overall mix or performance of everything was a bit more raucous perhaps with the addition of of a hammond organ sound or something as well as a bit more aggressive drums. Vocals are clean and clear sounding. Keep up the good effort and you will start to feel more comfortable and develop more of your own style and will also learn what works for you (strengths, weaknesses etc.) I enjoyed this collab.
