"Scary Story MJ Style - Halloween Jam Spooktacular! - with Einarus
Einarus and I started on this project almost immediately after the Sept 8th beginning and we were notified that we would be working together.
We got off to a good start when I sent Einar a track I'd had hanging around for years and he sent it back the next day morphed into a very cool background music bed.
We discussed what direction we wanted to go and settled on a Radio Play story format, with sound effects and incidental music. I would provide the story and sound effects and Einar would provided the music.
Unfortunately life has a habit of getting in the way of plans sometimes and Einar got very busy with school so he didn't get as much done on the music part of this piece as we had hoped. He did however supply me with several critical music beds that worked well to tie the story together and two very effective pieces he called "Revelation", and "Pre-suspense" both used at very an important place in the story.
So even as busy with school as he was, Einar provided some critical incidental music that helped this story work. I thank him for his efforts and cooperation, especially under the difficult circumstances he faced on the home front:
Of course Einar and I, now await your judgement on our efforts worked.
Einar:
"Halloween" - Music used throughout the play as a backdrop and mood setter for the story.
"Revelation" - Music use as the backdrop for the telling of the truth
"Pre-suspense" - a critical piece for setting the mood and dynamics at this point in the story
"Low Pad" - an underlying music bed to compliment and supplement "Halloween"
sloparts:
Writing, Story & Production
Character dialog & voices
Sound Effects
All other incidental music.
Arrangement, Engineering and Mixing.
65 tracks were used in this project.
7 vocal tracks,
12 sound effects tracks for the confrontation,
11 tracks for vehicle & other sound effects,
12 tracks for environment and weather,

This hearkens back to the old radio-play days and does it well. Excellent writing, performances, and orchestrations all around! Superb.
