Well... Here it is...
I was beginning to wonder if we would have a tune to post or not... For some reason I'm struggling to pull stuff together these days. I'd sent a note to Dimm Witness but he was pretty busy and time just floated by...
I started on a track three times and every time the thing sounded like a kids nursery rhyme. I couldn't seem to make anything sound spooky at all.
Then suddenly out of nowhere DW sends me this killer synth/drum track. At first listen I was trying to figure out what I would add... It was pretty full sounding.
Then it just came to me... Intro, ragged vocals, chorus... I seem to be fixated on vampires so that was the path I selected. This comes from the view point of a vampire that needs what he craves but hates himself in the process.
I totally ruined whatever voice I had doing this...
Dimm Witness was super to work with! I enjoyed this a ton!

I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek at this and I've so been looking forward to this posting. GREAT work from DW on the bass and drum grooves, and Mark as I told you when we talked about this, it just has an "epic" feel. Your vocals are NOT ragged (poke), and I just love how you put this together - congrats to you both!
