Description
Welcome to my dream come true! Now sit back, put on your shades, grab a cigarette and a scotch rocks, and listen to some jazz. We've got the incredible iGStudio on sax (and wait until those dulcet tones shiver down your spine) and the amazingly talented McBoy on piano (whose fleet fingers will shimmy right into your soul). That's right -- I finally got to sing with that jazz combo I've always dreamed about! And even more than that, I got to work with two of Macjams' biggest talents, and nicest guys. I was born under a lucky star, no doubt about it.

Lyrics
Smooth as silk, slick as oil
Sly as a fox, you're never true or loyal
You're a rake, a bounder, a rascal, a cad
Why, oh, why do I like my boys bad?
You set your sights in that smoky room
Helpless as a kitten, I sauntered your way
You smiled, you laughed, enjoying my doom
I couldn't resist that black hair touched with grey
:;Refrain::
You put on airs; lived like a king
I thought you were the man you pretended to be
The bills came in; I paid everything
A wink, a kiss, and a slap on the tush was your currency
:;Refrain::
You stole my heart, and all of my rings
You took my natural pearls but skipped the cultivated
I should have known I'd lose all my things
You wouldn't even breathe without being compensated
::Refrain::
::Some noodling around::
::Refrain::
I don't know...
Loverboy...
Come to Mama.

Pretty cool that you were able to work with
musicians, eh? This is nice alternate version of the
song. More laid back, loungy and mellow. I think I
liked the addition of the sax the most. What I
missed, however, (and everyone can call me crazy if
they want to) is the skittery piano in the original
version...even though it was a touch fast, it added a
more feisty tone to the piece!! (Nothing against your
talent, McBoy!!!) Overall, this was a pleasure to
hear...
