Description
An unsolved series of murders and disappearances of young women in the vicinity of Highway 16 has earned the route the nickname the "Highway of Tears". Since 1969, at least 32 women, many of them aboriginal, have been killed or suspiciously disappeared along the 800-kilometre (500-mile) section of highway between Prince George and Prince Rupert British Columbia.
Some have claimed ghostly images have appeared at night while traveling this highway, hands outstretched as if asking for help.
Some have claimed that there radios where interrupted at night with transmission like voices but they could not understand what was being said.
This is the Highway Of Tears, the highway of fear, the highway of terror...
