i'm gonna blame my sinus infection and the fact that I can't hear for all that reverb, but my goodness, that's a lot of reverb. if/when i add parts to this I'm definitely going to keep that in mind, thank you for the honest listen and feedback! Check out my latest song called Place of Origin

thanks! But the pick noises are there! For whatever reason, I just can't not hit the bottom of the f-hole w my pick. I know it's a problem for me, but when I try to focus on not hitting it, it's like everything else just falls apart, so for now I'm sticking w/ what i know and letting the pick noises happen ..... i guess its a choose your poison thing until i'm able to practice my way out of this!! eye maybe you're too picky about being too picky. I like your style of picking here. I don't think it really has to be restarted - I really like it ! I can think of some vocalists here on macjams website - who could suppl. & embellish it with an applicable theme & melodic line. it would be great for this I think ? I'm not into country western but that mainly has to do with the accented singing and lyrics more than the music backing. This sounded all right to me. You are way too hard on yourself. I don't hear too much wrong with this, love the part from 1:41. perhaps a little less reverb will de-emphasize the pick sound. bah, what do I know about acoustics? good tune and I look forward to any future versions.
