I utilize the fingerpicking, pick and

make the brass slide special.

.
awesome guitar playing Tiler you have some such a
command for the instrument. Someday I hope I can play
with such mastery.

I enjoyed playing it. I know I am not in the studio but there is something
about GB that just makes recording fun.

Thanks

For cryin' out loud!
This is amazing Bill! I'm such a sucker for the "cryin'
slide", and you have such a way of expressing emotion
and feeling with your songwriting and performance. I love
the build in the middle and I'm glad you left all the fret
noise intact -- it gives us such a "humanistic" listen.
Superb all around. Curious though... Why brass and not
glass on your acoustic?

Good Question about the brass. I feel a little more comfortable with brass.
Some of the glass ones make my finger (feel awkward). Maybe I'll find one
that does it for me.

Thanks so much for posting!

Bill

unique
A very unique combination of slide twang and Spanish
fingerwork. Really nice.

Maybe they will invent some type of slide for the classical guitar, you know
like the bow is to the violin.

Thanks

Hey, Blondie!
Wow. This made me want to run out and buy an electric-acoustic and slide! The playing gave me chills. Andres Segovia is my favorite classical guitarist. This is like a melding of Segovia and Ry Cooder. You could drop this right into a modern remake of one of the Sergio Leone / Clint Eastwood westerns and it would capture the mood perfectly.

I really appreciate mentioning about classical. I have felt that in some
instances that the "slide" can give a classical presence. An almost whistling
sound. I wish more people would understand that.

Thanks for mentioning that mixture.

Perfect
It's cold ouside. 18 inches of snow fell overnight and it's
still coming down. Somehow this beautiful piece was able
to bring some warmth into an otherwise frigid, dreary day.
