Description
"There is in the unconscious of each man an inherent image of woman who helps him to understand her being."
The anima is the personification of all female psychological tendencies in the psyche of a man, including feelings, moods, intuition, receptivity for the irrational, the ability for personal love, a feel for nature, and the man's attitude toward the unconscious.
I'm not one for Carl Jung (the man may as well have been using a Ouiji board), but some of the ideas are interesting. I had done this song with Bud before and it was kind of a Velvet Underground number. Awhile back I got bored and was cleaning crap off the HD and stumbled across it. I ended up doing a remix, decided it was lame and put it away. Now I don't know what I think of it, so you be the judge. Here's the original version Bud and I did (he also did one with DavisAmerica):

I took the original instrumental track and ran it through a filter and then put a gate on it. sounds like a synth but it's not. Did a couple of other synth drone parts and made new drums for it. Drum programming is really fun; I used to dread it, but I really enjoy geeking out on it now. Kevin (Bud) sent me a new guitar part that was real grinding, and I put a sidechain on it that was triggered by the hihats. cut it up a little more and ended up with the stuttering guitar part you hear now. This whole song is an experiment in learning how to manipulate sound and automate effects. Maybe you'll like it.
