Description
This is the first track where I've gone through and spent several hours on the mastering. The track itself was something where I wanted to get a deep, euphoric vibe flowing, start to finish. It just goes to show that GarageBand can be much more powerful than most people think!

Firsties Yes!
That intro is brain melting. Super clear production. Yes indeed, you have garageband running on all cylinders. Did you master in GB or did you use another software like audacity? My only comment is there may be a tiny bit too much super hi-end sizzle when I listen to this through my studio monitors, otherwise the entire sonic range is well represented. Great bouncy track, wish this was a download. Nice Stuff. Reminds me of Chicane a bit.

Thanks
And yes - I did the mastering in GarageBand, but I've got a whole load of extra plugins for it so GarageBand is really just an interface for me to work from, and thanks for the feedback. I have the M-Audio AV40s, but I keep them down on the floor, so I can see how the high tip might come as a little too fizzy. [edit] Although not nearly as much treble as Armin Van Buuren's ASOT albums. With such a range of mastering examples out there, I found it quite hard where to start as a template and then work from there.

I was thinking about
soaring through constellations at light speed, as if the mind can move among the stars. This is bright and exhilarating. Impressive. Thanks.

now
I do use logic, and in a couple of weeks time will be Apple certified, but for most of my trance stuff now, I use Cubase.
