Description
Geraldo
using scott horwath composer player song "Limelight"
G# minor
bass.
Piano.
guitar.
a recent collaboration.
it is kind of a cheap acoustical transducer from guitar center -
a “stealth” - it is now attached with two small phillips screws - towards the neck-end of the sound-hole - do you think I need to adjust the
torsion bar more ? or loosen it ? - or move the pick-up to
the lower part of the opening ? intonation could be better on this axe. Certain frets do not scope-out with perfect-enough 100-cent intervals –
trying various string types and diameters – when time - thanks !!!!!!!!!!
Sincerely appreciating your high interest.

in the intro. I am playing quite far up the neck
with no finger picks or no picking devices throughout the song.
and for the popcorn parts - it is largely up on the octave harmonics – right pinkie to stabilize . . . 12th fret swivel-roll-tapping and then for a bit tapping on the double high octave overtones - I tried several tunings and then - sunk into the most natural G# minor chordal six string tuning - Low B, G#, then higher B, D#,G# . . . with D# on the high string his way - also - I don't tend to torture my fingertips as much -
by lowering them . . . bringing ‘em down

controlled chaos
this is some really nuanced guitar work, and the piano is just magical. The harmonics are so subdued, how do you get that kind of tone on them? Mine tend to ring more...are you just barring nodal points lightly and then playing softly? Anyways, this is a wonderful composition, beautiful web of sound. Great job!

Lyrical
The opening had me wondering where it was going a bit but it developed into an extremely lyrical and beautiful work. I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks.

I do very
much like how this opened up with the piano and guitar working together and intertwining. It's very moody and flows nicely. The recording quality is gorgeous! Downloaded!

hey . . .
hello ! -
this / my cheap craig's list noisy mono mixer used here - by Kustom is nothing to rave about though - finding helf way through the process - to eliminate
the noise by using no effects at all - and bringing kustom mixer channel volume down - but hiking input computer software volume all the way up - and then reducing it - for the final output mix - it really helped -
it would also help if I had used a stereo mixer
thanks !!

Limelight Featuring Scott Horwath (867-5309)
This is gorgeous. The guitar playing is wonderful. So much nuance. I like the very slight bends and tremolo effects you're getting with your left hand.

Scott's piece and his playing are typically brilliant.

Wow Geraldo, this is absolutely gorgeous!! And, a fantastic way to start my day. Yeh, yeh...I know it's noon but it's been a lazy Saturday morning for me. In any case, this is really beautiful. My day would have not been complete had I not heard this! Thank you for sharing...
