Description
Minimalism piano piece, for the lower register; a second slightly out-of-phase piano is hiding in there somewhere.

lovely Thanks for the kind words, Peter. You have excellent ears--the 'glitch' is, I think, an analogue tape crease. This piece was orginally recorded on a Fostex 4-track cassette recorder. I tried to remaster it and clean it up on the G5, but could not eliminate that 'bump.' Glad it didn't bother you too much! And I'm glad you find a redemptive quality in the sad tone of this 'broken' piece. Check out my latest song called Keep Looking for Jesus (MJRF)

I would Like to hear this expanded from this minimalist state into something more. The haunting chord changes are incredibly effective. Nicely played with an even tone. I hear the glitch but it is really very slight. SlimGirlfat Check out my latest song called Not Enough

Broken string, or... backfiring hammer? I heard some double attacks. Anyway, nice mellow piece. Check out my latest song called Tecmo Superbowl 2009 w/ Dead End (MJRF 2004)

Tom I just heard this on the home page player. So glad this one came up in the rotation. I missed it the first go-round -- and what a shame. This is really a beautiful and pensive little piece. Has a very "Moonlight Sonata" feel. Almost too beautiful not to sit and ponder. Check out my latest song called Mama Cries - Album Version (MJRF)

I really like this. I feel like it tells a sad story that
somehow is about to change for the better. Perfect for a
film score, just before a turn in the story. There's a point
in the latter first half where the audio kind of flickers a bit,
like... an analogue tape glitch, perhaps? It's a minor
technical note. It doesn't impair my ability to enjoy this
piece.
