Description
Going back through old albums looking for inspiration I pulled out the three record set by Frank Zappa called Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar. This song is derived from pieces from that album that I did as a learning experience. Everyone knows the commercial work he did and that he was a demanding and talented musician. But he also like to just lay it out, mistakes and all and that's where I come in. I've got the mistakes down and now that we will be able to reload new versions of our songs I figured it was a good excuse to put this up. It's long 5:04.

You're brave to go to Zappa for inspiration! Really great playing and tone throughout this piece. If there are mistakes, I don't hear them. It all sounds very organic and expressive. The bends and vibrato are seductive!
Given the length, you might try a change-up of the backing part at some point. Maybe a shift to a different mode or chord progression?
