Description
This is probably the mother of all saloon songs, written in 1930 by Gerald Marks and Seymour Simons (who, I think, never went anywhere past this song, although rumor has it they wrote the theme song for the TV show "What's Happenin'?"). Thanks again and hope you all have a warm, toasty weekend! As usual, I'm accompanied here by the immensely talented Alan McPike (yanno, he told me he creates all this on a $79.00 Casio keyboard).
