Description
We have all finished our dinner. Its cold outside. Lets sit down around the fire. Karen is going to open the piano and I am turning on the theremin to let the valves warm up. We are going to play you a song...
This is Lamtumirë, a version of Magnatone's beautiful solo piano piece that can be heard here http://macjams.com/song/64955
Before we play for you, I would just like to say that it is OK to be sad when you say goodbye. It is ok to cry. It is important that you let those you love know that you love them in the 'here and now' and to focus on the good things that make them special.
I would like to dedicate this song to my daughter Rachel who has been spending time with me for the last month here in Arizona and returns to England the day after Christmas, and to my wife Lisa who is wonderful.
Also - Karen...thank you for making and sharing this beautiful music and thank you for letting me play with it
So...as we all stare into the flickering fire and listen to the theremin sing its electronic song from the ether...Merry Christmas to all of you
