Some nice textures here
I enjoy the mix as well as the dissonance. I realize the
scratchty part is intentional but seemed to distract...albeit
similar to windshield wipers (they're there but need them
to see in the rain)....ok, on to the theme...

The build is nice but doesn't "Arrive" anywhere but a fizzle
out, which is a shame because this has potential. Just a
suggestion for what it's worth: as it builds take it to a
high point for the world (the listener) to see...hold it high,
embellish it and make it shine...If you build it they will
come.

thanks!
I don't know if you can reply to your own posts, but
I'm doing it anyway!
I did push the scratchy part in the background, and I
have it get louder as it gets to the "loud" part.

I totally see what you are saying about it not
reaching that 'high point' - and it was very
intentional. I wanted this kind of slow buildup, that
never really makes it. In my former band, we did alot
of songs that slowly build to this triumphant point,
and I kind of wanted to do a psych-out if you will.
Whether it was successful, or even enjoyable to listen
too, I can't say.
Thanks so much for listening

i like the experimenting
reminds me of some old His Name Is Alive. you should
listen to them and hear what they do with sound and
noises and stuff. i'd like it if the build was a bit more
intense, and it didn't just end quite so suddenly. once it
gets to the really grooving part, it just sort of goes away.
still, i like this alot more on the second listen than the
first, so i approve of it as a genuinely good song.

Again here
Those are really beautiful themes. I didn't like the
distorted drums. The bass-strings are just wonderful
though. You're quite an original, just work it more out and
don't be too hasty to spread your songs (meaning: be your
own most demanding critic).
By the way, I like the idea of the uncrackable secret title.
(I've tried, but gave up (%u2026 looser))
