Beatles These harmonies reminded me immediately of the Beatles, and their song "the fool on the hill". Not that close, but the flutes have that feeling. Wonderful:) Check out my latest song called And here comes Christmas Eve

Very soothing Victor Your music always does that for me. As for remembering, isn't it comforting to know we have a net to fall into for when we forget. Peace. Terry Check out my latest song called Lacy / w davisamerica, awigze, Sisters & rok41

Simplicity... ...is sometimes more effective, which certainly is the case with your piece. You give a lot of space to think within this piece, and I found the harmonies very thought provoking indeed. Thanks for posting. Check out my latest song called 12.31.12

sweet work i was listening with interest to see where this went after the second flute at :12. the relationship between the flutes is very mellow, full of a purity - and your breath adds the human dimension in a good way. enjoyed this, anne Check out my latest song called UNIVERSAL SONG w Astronomusic & 24 Soloists

beautiful yes, sometimes I think back on my Catholic upbringing with fondness. this is a wonderful example of the layers of simple melodies creating gorgeous harmonies. very lovely, and a good reminder for me of how much of a prayer/meditation music can be. There is that sense of "other" that you sometimes feel in a religious setting... the unexplainable pull against your spirit. It comes when you are still or in this case, when you are listening to beautiful and elegant music. Thank you. Check out my latest song called When Loving Is One-sided, Music by Bob Rodgers

short I think you could take this on out; however it works alone, perhaps as a "in-between" tracks piece. Nice. . - Harold Check out my latest song called Ascent of a Tree (w Mike_D & FEEL)

Or as a prelude Matins is the first prayer of the day, before sunrise. This is the first movement in a planned sequence of musical prayers. But even then you're right, I could extend it. Check out my latest song called Fourth Candle

My only gripe Is that I wish this was longer and had more time to develope. I was wanting more for certain. It is really quite beautiful; I really like the recording tone you are getting. Check out my latest song called A Friend to the End

Being... ...in that same category as regards upbringing, I still enjoy going off with my dad from time to time for a weekend at the somewhat local Trappist monastery.... Getting up in darkness to experience Lauds, and hearing the monks singing the canonical hours throughout the day... This captures some of that wonderful feel of quiet, contemplation and simplicity... Matins Very pretty and soulful. The meditative feel is somewhat akin to "sacred minimalist" music (Pärt, Tavener, etc.), but this is of course much shorter. Lovely music, beautifully played. Check out my latest song called Momma's Song

Heard the second movement before this one but I can see how this one builds into the second one's more somber, dissonant tone. This one feels more contemplative and still. The long sustained note was a very nice touch. Enjoyed it! Can't wait to hear the rest. Check out my latest song called The Devil's Argument :P

I have no idea to what you are referring or whether this is appropriate, somehow. Whatever, it is very pretty, if a little subdued, which is not a bad thing.
Cheers, and merry Christmas Vic.
