Description
Inspired by what "Mumford & Sons" are doing very well, I took a return to playing as many instruments as I could: acoustic guitar, mandolin er...tambourine .. and came up with this, in some ways "Radiohead" influenced piece in 6/8:
It's an eternal love song/story: with the guy & gal being dead since they froze one cold winter.. but their souls never moved on, due to him holding her with his fond memories. When he realises this might be the case, he accepts to let her go, knowing in his heart, that he might not be yet able to move on...
Enjoy!
PS. Sorry, no download until later re-worked version is made. If you really want a copy of this version, just send your e-mail address to me in an MJ note and I'll send you one.

Lyrics
Here we hide from all that's new
Clinging, dearly, golden times
This house once was a home
Once was a place for living.
The harvest and the smell,
Of all of your home-made cooking.
When the bitter cold came,
And froze our love, so that we'll linger in Winter,
Never Spring
An' if I wish for heartbreak, providence.
I fear that, I'm sorry, the memories always stay.
Here in this past.
But pack all of your dreams,
And all of your love,
For this time..
When the bitter cold comes,
To freeze our love.
So that you'll linger in Winter,
No, no more
Because I prayed for heartbreak, providence.
I fear that, I'm sorry, the memories:
Here I stay,
An' dwell in this past.
And as God's my witness,
Sometime soon when all my selfish folly is all gone.
We'll be together, always,
And that I can leave this memory,
An' never again,
Dwell in this past.
Clinging, dearly, golden times
This house once was a home
Once was a place for living.
The harvest and the smell,
Of all of your home-made cooking.
When the bitter cold came,
And froze our love, so that we'll linger in Winter,

An' if I wish for heartbreak, providence.

The 6/8 time really gives this one a nice feel. And the mandolin is a nice touch as well. Enjoyed it!
