Mists on Cape May

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
Description: A soft piece - 1996 walking the beach on our 10th anniversary at night looking back on the pastel houses of Cape May in the mist - the entire town blurring in the fog like an impressionist painting.

Loop based piece with swirling Vibraphone and penciled bassline.

Atmospheric, very pleasing
Very nice - you've made creative use of those loops
and the overall effect nicely evokes the mood of a
nocturnal beach walk. The piano sections bring in a
fairly abrupt change of mood, but still fit into the
structure of the song.

soft stroll..
invokes the beach scene rather well, but i think the wave
FX could be much louder. i enjoyed the little wind
instrumentals the most-added some nice 'flava'. the
guitars get kind of drowned in there-have you tried
placing different instruments on different pan locations?
helps separate things & plays up a wider stereo effect.
very relaxing

thanks!
Thanks for the feedback! Actually I have been playing with
the effect levels and panning a bit in the piece. Haven't
found anything that works better yet. JUST got
Garageband 2 installed. Not sure if that will inspire
anything different or not :)

Nice job
Feels much more like an actual composition than a lot of
looped stuff on this site.
