This is actually a short try-out of some of the samples from the excellent 'Rock for GarageBand' title from www.samples4.com.
This is just fun. Rammstein meets Ravi Shankar and some gospel choir... One could easily think this track says something about something (religion and war), but I could not find any conclusion in it. Actually, the point of the track was how easy it is to suggest something meaningful. And having some fun with it.
On of the great possibilities of GarageBand, for me, is clashing the most diverse genres to complete something new.
I made this around New Year, but because I keep listening to it again and again (it is just 47 seconds), I decided to share it.
The title is a litteral/wrong translation of the Dutch sentence 'in de war', which means 'confused'. A kind of inside joke, pointing to the eclectic mix of music, as well as the attitude of today, regarding religion and violence.
Well. Come to think about it. Maybe there is some meaning hidden, in an absurd kind of way.
