Description
A new indie song, with some new textures (for me anyway) in the guitars. I've had this pretty much finished for a month or more but I was waiting for some feedback from my favourite sounding board, tempie. Craig recommended fleshing out the chorus with the shakers and cowbell, plus he suggested the backing vox in the verses, once I had these added the whole thing felt more ready for prime time.
The lyrics are one of my favourite subjects, those people who stand by and pretend stuff isn't happening in front of their eyes. As someone who has spent his life getting involved in other people's business (on a professional level) it bugs me to see those shuffling bumbling idiots who can't even express their own opinion. My lyrics these days seem full of vitriol, but hey that's life.
