Description
Bryn had put a beautiful time stretched acapella vocal piece in our shared dropbox and I really liked it very much. dumped it in Logic and did a few manipulations: slowing and stretching, reversing it, adding reverb and recording, reversing it back again, layering the same vocal track but staggering it so the tracks didn't start at the same time, adding distortion and delay. I liked the end result, but it wasn't long enough to be a song. so I wrote another bit and stuck the 2 together. at this point I have made a few different reprises of the same intro bit, and they are all like a minute long. I like the idea of a soundtrack for a movie that doesn't exist. It's supposed to sound old and degraded; if I ever finish up the other 90 minutes worth of music for the movie that never was, I will run it through an old tape deck to make it sound suitably degraded. This will do for now. Thanks for singing on this one Bryn.

oh man, i LOVE this michael! i wish it went on and on and on - it would be fabulous music to listen to for falling asleep (how about an extended version?).
