Very Cool Bryn
It has a real soothing sound. Another of your pieces I am not sure I understand but I do like it. It will be interesting to hear it while riding my bike around the city.
Peace

all one
the textures are fine, the ambience so zoned in. The cello-esque synth part really gives it a nice angle too.

sweet stuff, thanks for the dl :)

So,
what do you do? Take pieces parts from demos and put them through a ringer? You have an ear for hearing the unusually musical and I bet you have an old world sensibility that cautions us "to use everything." This one is gentle. It had me thinking about cute, fluffy stuffed toy animals that come to life like the bunny did in the story, "The Velveteen Rabbit." It only happens when you're loved. You put love into your mix, Bryn. Thank you.

Another Green Blender
you always have the best drum machine tracks since The Big Ship - and the Kalimba is brilliant. Also love Eric's midi sax and guitar work here. The middle restart was an excellent choice. Great collab.

like being lassoed with delicate sounds then being swirled like a hoolahoop 'til delightfully dizzy....sobered up up, then spun again! or like jumping into a nice warm load of warm laundry:)

Yngwie of the Kalimba
Mesmerizing. Acid Bossa Nova. I was messing around with a guitar bit that I have no ultimate plans for. I was thinking "I bet Bryn could make something useful out of this". I may end up sending it along for you to cannibalize.

You know
I have restless leg syndrome and periodic limb movement disorder which means I spend a lot of the time sleeping in the basement because I kick out while I sleep. Not good for my girlfriends rest :)
While i'm down there though I get to listen to macjams more often (i really have it, it's not a convenient macjams excuse).
Anyway I listened to this last night and while it didn't cure my crazy legs it did relax me. So nice one!
Very clean and full and spaced.

guitar?
i've listened to it twelve times trying to hear the guitar, but i can't find it. maybe i'm lulled into distraction by the time it comes around and i miss it. the organ is genius, i think it makes the tune. love the chugging sound, really does bring to mind a process of some kind.

I can't stop smiling while listening to this. Mesmerizing. I specially enjoyed the texture of the guitar part. Oh, and the ending is genius.

Ethnic
I hear african dancing tempo, rainstick chanting kind of setup melting into . . . Brazilian melotronia, I think. Its the hypnotic rhythm on this one that captivates the ear. Nice.
