Debussey is one of my particular favorite composers. This is such a simple but exquisitely lovely piece, I love playing it. Check out my latest song called Mic check

Love that opening and then the rather faltering, pensive playing of the song..... would be suitable for a TV Drama I think..... very pleasant listening Henry, regards M Check out my latest song called Shine Your Light

Gilding the lily These preludes are just perfect for piano solo. I'm not sure orchestral ornamentation is an improvement. Hopefully it hasn't detracted from the dreamy reminiscent feel I get listening to it. Check out my latest song called Mic check

Yes I'm a big fan of our Claude! This is a nice arrangement of one of his lovely ditties. I'd have been more inclined myself to go down the Isao Tomita route and have some full blown electronica in here, but that's what I do. Maybe you should splash out and get one of the orchestral synths [EastWest?] as they seem to do a better job than Logic's offerings, especially with brass and woodwind. Bloody expensive though! But this is a really nice job. The piano is quite exquisite. Check out my latest song called Nocturne op. 55 Andante

I was tempted I originally thought of a synth version. Then I remembered that Tomita had done this piece, dug out the record and played it. That pretty much ended any hope I might have had of doing something original. Maybe in a few months when Tomita's version has faded I'll take a shot. I'm going to keep hacking away at Logic's instruments for a while yet. I haven't got a real handle on using them to their fullest. There's a lot of timbal difference within the expression parameter, for instance which I haven't really exploited, and Logic doesn't default to even displaying expression (MIDI control 11). EastWest and associated samples are lovely, and if I was doing this for money I'd be all over them. As a hobby and learning exercise, I have a long way to go before I can say I've hit the wall with Logic. After all, I spent a couple of decades learning Vision, and I still haven't hit its limits. The limits are my own. Check out my latest song called Mic check

Henry Awesome. A great thank you for performing and posting this timeless music. I completely forgot Debussy. Don't remember the last time I listened to this music. Must be like 20 years ago. Getting a little bit technical now. Piano, flute and some bass parts sound excellent, very convincing. Unfortunately other synths sound quite artificial. To the point of getting in the way of full enjoyment. May be you can send those midi tracks to some macjammer to render them with a high quality orchestral library? Or perhaps take the Keith Emerson route and replace the instruments to sound like completely new sounds instead of an imitation of natural sounds? Just ideas. But, above all technicalities, I love what you did here. Check out my latest song called Everything
