Lyrics: Sorry.
Lost on this lonely road, dust swirling
Nowhere to go,
I walk away
I Fade Away
So light a window for me to bring me home

Been claimed by Deaths cold embrace
Now he's left me here in this place
I walk away
I fade Away
So light a window for me to show me the way

Fought like a devil, long and hard
but like all struggles in the end
I walk away
I fade away
So light a window for me to take me there

No heavenly choir or roar of hell,
nothing but crickets and the sigh of the wheat
I walk away
I fade away
So light a window for me to bring me home

At the door I knew so well,
but the laughter inside tells me everything
I walk away
I fade away
That burning window wasn't lit for me

Lost on this lonely road, dust swirling
Nowhere to go,
I walk away
I Fade Away
So light a window for me to bring me home

So light a window for me to bring me home

So light a window for me to bring me home

Another great track!
So soon after the last song and all those rockabilly numbers! You haven't met someone unsavoury at a lonely road junction lately and agreed on some sort of ungodly deal, i hope?

Much in your deep, raw vein, Adam, and again a powerful listening experience.

Though there is desperation in the appeal of the lyrics, because the singer sounds well-advanced in years (no aspersions cast here, or assumptions made!), there is dignity, too. The deep register somehow portrays solidity and rootedness, even though a change is being asked for and restlessness the current situation. Strange and interesting conflict there, perhaps.

Another significant achievement, sir.

Yea, been here...
You need the method, but be encouraged, your pitch challenge fits the piece. There is a lilt as well...

Lilt
Creeps in from time to time. I've lived in a lot of places with differing accents. I'm a fairly gifted mimic and pick up a "natural" accept quickly. It sticks around though and shows up in the oddest places.
