Lyrics
Well Ive seen so many dam changes
but some how I can't seem to change
and ive been trapped in myself now
for so long it's a shame

i feel like i'm trapped in an hour glass
and I'm drowning in the sand some day I'll be back I won't be the same maybe I will have changed

ive had my share of heart aches
had my share of pain
yea i lost some that I love now
they won't ever here me sing

I feel like I'm down but I must get up
i must carry on
i'm on my way back now I won't be the same maybe I will have changed

Shades of Ronnie Van Zandt
Not difficult to hear who your influences are...I hear a ton
of Skynyrd on the the vocal and the guitar solo...love the
not too fast playing on the lead, by the way. If it matters, I
also hear shades of The Band. Nice song!

Shades of Ronnie Van Zandt
Hey thanks for the comments. This is one of my first recordings using garage
band. i had my electric guitar plugged into my imac and recorded the vocals
with the built in mic, for the drums I used a usb key board. I'm glad you liked
it, thanks again...

Excellent Song and Performance
Maybe I should get my ears checked but I hear some
Randy Newman in the voice and Leslie West in the guitar
solo.

Great classic style
This sounds live it could be a vintage southern rock
ballad. Great singing and playing. The mix need some
work. The electric at the begining needs to come up a bit
and bring down the acoustic a little. I'd like to hear a bass
line in there. Fill the bottom end.

This song rocks. Make those changes/additions and the
song will ROCK (with all caps and one of these "!".)

Classic
Classic. Really solid tune, and a great lead solo. Really
nice track. And even tho you are absolutely clear in your
diction and vocals, I'd love to have lyrics and more info
posted, like composer, hardware. I love your sound.
Perfect for the genre.

great solo!
wow, what a great guitar solo... and nice tuune. i like the raw amp sound, even though it is too bad it is the last sound you hear, but in the middle, i like hearing it. makes me want to get back into the nstudio. great energy and power in the playing. excellent. and nice vocals too.

Vocals Can Really Walk
Great voice, inflection and intent - really well delivered. Can only imagine
what a real microphone would add to the, already, rich detail.

I, too, hear a bit of the Band - one of my Alltime favorite song writing
groups. I would really like to hear a remix or new session on recording
equipment that is up to the level that this piece deserves, though I really
like it anyway. It's a fine piece.
