Description
In 2001 I bought a midi controller, and that day my fingers started to bounce on the keys creating this simple melody.
Now I've recorded it using GB instruments and Reason for the drum pattern.
I will appreciate any comment.
Thank you for listening.

Enjoyable Melody
I liked the melody and the synth sounds - very well
produced.

However, I found the drums (especially the hand clap)
didn't fit well to my ears with the rest of the song.

I'm curious what this would sound like without the drums.

Enjoyable Melody
Hi Mungo,
thank you for the comment.
I'm not completely satisfied about the drum sounds too.
The more difficult thing with this simple song was to choose the right
sounds.
I tried many drum kits, from Roland-like to modern hip-hop, and it was not
easy. Maybe there is too much reverb on the hand clap.

Thanks :-)

Its got a good melody but why do you clash the drums and handclapping.

Cosmic!
I agree with Mungo.... try lowering the clap volume but
increasing the reverb? Just a thought.... Realy like the
sound though and actually the drums don't really detract
from the whole. Cool!

Dancing on Mars
Love that Oxygen sound..fun piece! I'm probing dirt on
Mars then found the coolest little creature...ooops, sorry,
getting carried away. Ok, the song....you've got
something very entertaining and fun to listen to. Build on
it as I think you could do something remarkable with it.

Looking up
Your tunes are uplifting and enjoyable. It has an innocent and childlike
quality to it. So far, I have listened to three songs of yours and they are
all in my favorites. Keep up the good work.

Nice
I like the synthetic sound.
It sounds a little like a mix between a Minimoog and TB 303.
It reminds me to The Moog Cookbook (a synthesizer-band that only use analog synthesizers).

Regards,

Hello,
I'm glad you liked this one.
I loved 80's music and synths.
It was my schooltime...
