hi bob this little keyboard http://www.akaipro.com/synthstation25 you just put iPhone in it and play the iPhone synths. there are a handful that are compatible with more on the way. I already have an iPhone so for $100 it's like adding another hardware synth or 3. drawbacks are mini keys and tiny interface. it will work with iPad though -- hopefully I'll get one this year :-) Check out my latest song called conflation

gosh we had row upon row of those music CDs with all those :10s, :20s, :30s, :60s, millions of em. the prod director kept the newest and best for himself I got the old hand-me-downs. ugh. got pretty tired of trying to find anything that sounded halfway decent. left radio before I got accomplished enough on the home DAW to be brave enough to sneak something on the home stations.
