Description

This piece is Demo quality only and needs work, however it is coming along, I did this for my friend Ravens who is a metal junkie surprising as that might seem. This is not just metal, it has lots of influences from hard rock to rock, the last stanza was influenced by the first Metal band I ever heard "Black Sabbath"...I repressed my desire to add strings, opting for a stronger sound...

	I didn't think I'd like this, but... ...I do! Not being a fan of metal, but this is not harsh, it's very expressive and listenable. Probably because of what you say in terms of the other influences in here. I think strings at 2:50 to 3:20 (like electric violin) would enhance it and add another layer of texture. First minute reminded me of Floyd's rockier moments, but soon launched off into something else. Maintained the interest throughout. The riff-heavy Sabbath moment was particularly good!

Really well-put-together this, and would be worth, expanding, adding lyrics or something else, perhaps?

Brilliant piece anyway.

	Shadow's "Shadows" Great bass opening. It is bass, right? That guitar sounds like it's talking. Really nice. Wicked lead guitar lines. Love it. Blast off at 1:08. Good thing I'm not driving right now. I like those stops past 2:00. The Sabbath part is obvious, of course. It's cool, but the rest is better in my humble O. Heaviness. Go, Shadowband! 	Raven Gotta love a backwards guitar. The bass lick( guitar?) that leads it all off has a decidedly country picking vibe to it actually, funny. Then all f*cking hell-o breaks loose.
