I just posted a song inspired by your last post, so you're definately woven into the macjams fabric, I'm a big fan of your voice and style, and what an all star cast here, The veteran drummer Freddy always sounds great, laura, very nice and Peter did an amazing production as well as a very well written and composed song, who is playing the guitar? Hey Gang, I wondered for a moment at the start how this would morph into reggae but I was premature (as usual :-)). As soon as Freddy's ska drums kicked in and Laura's sax started insinuating itself on the track all became clear. All was indeed calm and good. What a great set of spices...
I will be the first to admit I have no particular interest in reggae, so the deceptive piano intro was a perfect decoy to keep me listening, and of course the line-up of Loob, Laurie, & Miche (and Peter?!) wow... what a great piece of music, excellent performances... super singing there Miche, and Laurie's sax melted in perfectly. Peter's writing and performance here is excellent as well, and the mix is crystal clear. It feels like there's room for just little swells of extra instruments here and there, but not much, and the vocal harmonies are sweet.
