Careful This is killer John!...Punk stylings definitely sounding Blinkish...One thing I would recommend on this would be to get more edge out of the bass, played with a pick to really capture that vibe...the playing is perfect but if you want to really capture that 182/Greenday P Bass vibe I think you need that gritty pick sound. Careful Well...I would love a shot...only problem is, I am not an efficient "pick" player. John I'm glad you liked this. The plugin I used is pretty powerful and seemed to pick up several characteristics of the guitar. One guitar track all the way through. Green Day .... Has that Green Day vibe happening big time. I'm too old to be directly influenced by the grunge/punk scene, but my step-son is a huge fan so I got to hear lots of it over the years, and figued out what was good and bad for the genre. Dave I enjoy and stay current to as much music as possible even though most of the time I don't know the artist. The last band I played in, our cover tune targeted the college crowd. We mixed in some older rock tunes and some originals. I still haven't grown up and don't know if I ever will. My attempts usually sound influenced by classic rock. Very cool manic Blink 182 (is that the right number?) vibe. I like the way the verses break down to just bass, drums, and vocals. The band is tight as hell! Fun listen and well done!
