Yea, that's me. Who did ya think it was? Ya think it was a sample? Or a VST? Or I got someone to play on the thing, like a ghost? Or I bought a track off a production house? Naw, me.
Sorry Andrew, it was me. I'm no badass though, just have a few chops left... those are it...lol. I just don't like to play a thing too many times. If I get a run through, I am done. For better solo work try "Two Bitches" or "Mediocrates". Those solos were played on MS1221s, which are much more expressive than the Fernandez I used here, (so the solo is better...)

platitudes not included. Is that a pencilled in bass or a sears bass? I appreciate that you included instructional audio into your song so that you dont have to spend so much time commenting. So cows cant stand up after a decent tipping. Although they are seen sitting in the shade on a hot summer day. I think it has something to do with whether the fish are biting or not.

Andy I love you!
Just want to know something... why is it that you have to bust my chops all the time?
Wrote the bass line on #1. The line is support by synths. I normally use at least three different voices.
Played all the guitar parts in one pass, like I always do, you can hear the mistakes, left um in, as usual.
Cows can't stand up? What? They don't really sleep standing. It's not possible for the average person to push a cow over. The idea is about "ritual cows" Andy. I thought the thing funny myself...
Some people don't have a sense of humor...

let's
i LOVE how off the wall and unconventional you are and inventive and innovative. this is prog-art-metal. fantastic guitar and percussion. the synth keyboard riffs and breaks are sublime. love the weird effect on the vocal section. my only criticism is the 'push 'em over' line. you should repeat a few bars of it....you introduce it in its own space and it's such a great surprise to the listener....but then you take it away just as quickly and the listener doesn't get time to enjoy it. i think you could repeat it a couple more times....and then get out. in fact can you please do that and then email me an mp3? ta.

Hello Steve
The tele sound here is in a dense place I think of as the "Idol Push" section. Right after the first solo section pauses for the drum break.
The solo and "support guitar" on "Cow Tipping" was played on a Fernandes 81 Pro. I think this is the sound you are enjoying. That is not a tele sound, it is a humbucking sound. The techniques I am using includes "tele licks" (cos I am basically a tele player), these maybe what you are diggin... Get a guitar that sounds better the more ya beat the crap out of it, you will understand... really hard to explain the Tele thing to a Les Paul or PRS player. When you fight a Telecaster it gives you joyful sounds! I just went "humbucking" on "Cow Tipping" to get a different tone established...

My favorite song about cows ... ever
It's all about torque -- not the song, but tipping a cow, as clearly illustrated. Thank you for that. Glorious opening, then getting into the Power Station "take that" groove. Rocking hard, sir. Ripping up on that guitar. The choir (janie and Jennie, I presume) and piano are great against that in-yer-face groove. Incidentally, I usually will not tip a cow, unless the service is above and beyond. You know, the term "cow tipping" has a very distasteful, alternative meaning. But don't let's go there. This is tops. Daug rock.

Cool. Great music and controlled insanity. Reminds me of the crazy stuff that Vernon Reid has done on some of his solo work. Love the lyrics. Smart writing and music all around. My only comment is that I wish the drums weren't so buried in reverb, but that might be part of the experiment. BTW, jazzy/fusion basslines on this are sick!
