Description
I had this up the other night but after listening to it again was a bit digustified with the sound--it was too loud and had too much bass (I think, but what do I know?) Anyway, I remixed it and here it is again. The piano work on this is truly astounding (although I could murder him for that ending) and hope you enjoy it.
This was written by my main songwriter, Harold Arlen, and first appeared in the Broadway flop, "The Great Magoo" (1931). I'm not familiar with the play or Magoo, so I don't know if he was actually that great or not.
"It's Only a Paper Moon" was written by Harold Arlen and Buddy DeSylva (1931-PD)
Music arranged and performed by Alan McPike
Vocal: Junior Samples, Sr.
Artwork: Have any of you ever tried acid and if so, did you ever see anything that looked something like this?
