Good one Joe!
I enjoyed the homage to Herrmann in the beginning (this also owes a little to Dimitri Tiompkin's score for "The Thing" with the "electric slide whistle"). Being a movie buff and especially a fan of sci-fi flicks, I truly enjoyed this far-out score (just to prove it, your artwork features "My Favorite Martian", "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians", "This Island Earth" and I'm afraid I'm stuck on the Muppets picture however!) Watch the Skies!
The Thing (the original) is another of my all-time favorite sci-fi movies. And another great soundtrack. It Came From Outer Space is another fav, both movie and music-wise. Plus, written by Ray Bradbury.I guess now I need to come up with a movie to go with the theme...

Good eye, btw. I wondered if anyone would recognize Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Truly an underrated movie...

I think to every one of us who are lovers of movies, of all kinds, but especially the great sci-fi and horror movies--this was and still is a great treat to listen to Joe (in fact, it gave me a big lift listening to this again!)
