I tried the Vocal Exercise and I have now got one broken and two twisted Straggle Strings....where was the Physical Harm may occur and Mental Health at risk warnings....you never heard of Health and Safety........? Pah !

I was told you should warm up your voice before singing every time, but to be honest, I rarely do it (besides, I remember spending almost half the time during my vocal lessons doing these exercises and at the rate she charged, every week I'd run through them, each week getting faster and faster, yanno?) Well, I know where you've been and I'm not telling! Thanks for listening to this (as usual, I'm just dumbstruck at the response this got--seriously! But for me, it's letting people hear the music and the song that matters the most, so that's good!) Still no usable PC yet (I recorded this a few weeks ago incidentally) and on the old one we had from before; there's just not enough memory on this ancient one to install my music programs, etc. We are shopping around for a used, but refurbished Dell setup like we had and hope to have that situation resolved before too long. Alas, it's never been quite the same since my singing partner, Kitty Litter, ran off with a bass player from the Jimmie Lunceford orchestra (ironically, last I heard she and Joe--the guy she ran off with--are currently working at a Kotex Factory in Selma, Alabama). Thank you for remembering Sophie Tucker, the "Last of the Red Hot Mommas" (although by the time she was making film appearances, which is how I first became aware of her, she was more like "The First of the Last Glowing Embers", yanno?) If you ever watch the film "American Graffiti", please note the temps Wolfman Jack forecasts over the car radios! Well we've been having wonderful cool nights in the 50's and days in the high 70's here in Austin but we will probably hit that 345 sometime in August.
Another great song from the past. Didn't Guns and Roses do a cover of this? Oh wait, that was Weed I Do. Seriously beautiful smooth singing as always. We both do a lot of songs from the Way Back Machine but you do the slick city songs and I do those rough country ones. I guess between us we've got early American music covered.
