nice choices Feels a lot like a game soundtrack, with that rhythmic pumping growlbass powering the engines, and the other sound effects streaking across the windshield. Love the power-down in the middle, and almost wanted something similar at the end (but then, I usually have allergic reactions to fade-outs.) :) :) Sounds magnificent on my studio rig... An apotheosis of mechanicity. Really superb choices in sound field placement. Tons of dimension, depth, and originality. I'm normally not really much a fan of the genre, but I am really taken with this. Made me think of Herbie Hancock, and M, and Robert Palmer for some bizarre reason. Cool ideas Some great elements in here, very enjoyable arrangement and build. One thing to watch out for with this style is your stereo image. You can get away with a lot of hard panning in rock or other acoustic stuff, but in electronic music, so much is based on the mono image being dead on. You have some bassier elements that are a little too hard panned, and that snare is leaning too much too. What I would do is make your main saw synth mono and rather put some stereo effects on the midrange and treble of it. Same thing with the snare, it needs to deliver a centre-field punch for this to come through the right way on a club system. I usually put a mid-side EQ on my master track, and cut all stereo information under 300 HZ. Hope that helps, happy exploring! Check out my latest song called A Rubber Ball's Day Off
