Sammy Thanks for checking out my tune and the feedback. Since I'm not a singer, my music was just instrumental, but I always felt something was missing -- like voice. I tried my hand at digitizing a bit of my own voice in "Didn't Know" -- but I think that came out a little short on expression. So -- enter prerecorded voices -- with some tweaking here and there. My current library of digitized voice choices are pretty limited, though. Check out my latest song called Spring

misunderstood this was a pre-recorded voice? I thought the main voice in this was you, but sped up, so it sounded sorta Mickey M. After another listen, I guess that is a female and that's why it sounded so "high" to me at first. In that context, this would still jam at a club. I'd be the first on the floor! ha! Alvin! I can see where you're coming from. Actually, I had to use three different voice sources on this, and tried to mix them so it sounded like a group doing the background vocals and one female lead. I frankly can't stand Alvin and the Chipmunks singing, either. Check out my latest song called Spring

Spring and voice Hi Phillip -- Since you wouldn't want to hear me sing live, I mainly use snippets of other people's digital voices and sometimes modify them a bit using Garage Band. Also do that with my own voice occasionally. Although, the title and photo don't have much in common with the type of music I use to play when the photo was taken, both spring and the photo were an inspiration for creating this short experiment.
