Al Hirt was a trumpet player, probably best remembered for his recording of "Java" (you've heard it, trust me) and was one of the few instrumentalists popular during the time of the Beatles and all those guys. I'm relieved to know you take care of those particulars. My understanding with the owner of Club KitKat is that every Saturday night, they often take all the regulars out back, hang them on the wall, and then hose them down real good. This cleaning process seems to hold pretty well until the next Saturday, but when the air conditioning is out they have to close up.

Yanno, the only two things I do is sing and play the piano and I must say (as you know about the later), mixing for voice and piano involves superior learning that only visitors to the Plant Mongo take away with them--it's that darned complicated! Hearing this tune a lot lately.....
Yeah your in my right ear more than the left but that's cool. When old lefty gets jealous I just flip these suckers around.
Seriously, I like the balance. It has a nice feel.
I usually forget to focus on your mixing skills as I'm wowed by the vox. But now I'm zoning in I'm impressed. I guess were all a little guilty of overlooking this part of your songs but I'm nearly as impressed with your mixing as I am with your pipes!

Thanks for breaking your Routine #42 to come to my rescue! As I mentioned to Mannix above, I did adjust the fields a bit (I can't remember if it was just the vocal or the whole mess, so you can join Mr. M in having much aural acuity!) I think my own criticism with this would be not bringing up the treble a bit as my high notes sound rather closed at time, but I'm still working out some kinks lately. Thanks very much!
