Description

Setting---romantic jazz club--possibly Birdland in NYC? We may never know. This one was started a long time ago, set aside, and recently brought back to life. Its funny how a song starts out, then months later, its totally different, as is the case here. Since I don’t sing, I try to convey myself through music, so here is a little part of my life.
I want to thank Andy (awigze) for the amazing sax!! He sure came through. I also heard a rumor he is starting a band (scofigze)--- It may be a new drink as well.
Hope you find something in this one.

Perfect to hear before heading to Dreamland. Certainly takes me to another place tonight. Andy, your playing is so wonderful, very dreamy. Scott, what can I say that I haven't said a dozen times before. Everything you do, you put your heart into, and it shines. Just perfect.

	I wish I could put vocals to it. Its written around a scale instead of a chord progression, but if anyone could put vocals to it, that would be you. So you see....
I saw the word "train" in the title and steamed over here expecting ,you know the sort of chugging ,trainlike vibe often associated with songs with "train" in the title.....what do I get....a totally different sort of experience that is mind blowingly different,smooth,mellow and more of sunsets gleaming redly on the rails of a stockyard or huge junction as the last train slides gently out of sight.....great work.

	Smooth as silk You can almost taste the smoke in this! (in a good way) Has a sort of 30's crime noir feel to it and the guitar tone shimmers beautifully - that note at about the 1:59 mark is pure Freddy King! Loved it. Stretches the feelings of an instant into a song
It's like a photo of a club setting and slowly panning over all of the aspects of the shot all around the room. Faces dimly lit, the arrangement of glasses on a table, the bartender, the band. The sultry sax and drums set a mood here that I haven't heard this well captured in a long time. When the guitar and keys enter they join the dance in just the right spots; all contributions here are handled with taste and top musicianship.

I have this on loop at the moment since it is such a magical way to start the day. Gorgeous, but more than that, so raw and emotional.

Thanks guys for letting us hear this at all, let alone download it.

I've heard you play on like 3/4 of the songs I've listened to here, and you're amazing. Thought it was well past time where I sought out your music, and this does not disappoint... It's 2AM, and last call is long gone. Nobody left in his old club but me, the help, and this bourbon I'm crying into. She's gone. I never had her, really. I though if I'd only... nah. Production Professional and Dynamic
Opening is simply amazing. I am thrilled at the level sound emerging from the musical magicians playing. Just funked by the guitar of soul and the sax of the gods of music. Bass is doing what Bas should and piano floats among drums of warriors. This is what I heard. Great piece.
