Description

Wrote this one day while at work on a cardboard box. Had a Peter Murphy tune in my head but didn't know the lyrics. So I came up with these. At the 2:40 mark you'll notice a "clang" sound. This is a wine bottle being struck with a pin from a door hinge. At the 3:23 mark you'll hear kind of the same noise. But in fact these are me and the producer rolling 12oz Miller beer bottles on the tile floor in the control room. Not even sure what this one was about? Most likely another reflection of hindsight after a breakup.

Good grief!
I done nearly missed this one, whew! Jody, I'm afraid I can't find the proper superlatives to express how much I enjoyed this, so perhaps just plain ol' "Ya done good kid!" will have to do for now. Actually it's more than "good", this is marvelous as is just about everything I've heard from you. Songwriting, vocal and instrumental work--definite A+.
