Vocals Are effective G
I like this a whole bunch, I gather the vocals are the symphonic Choir stuff from E/W ? piano is great as is the melody line...excellent G

Thanks Dave
No the vocals are a Kontakt driven Plugin called Voxos, it has a phrase builder in it too, with many latin terms, I assign each word to low notes on another keyboard and trigger those as I play the vocal chords :)

This is "in progress?" Sounds pretty complete to me! I love the groove and the use of the vocal samples. The heavy guitar works quite nicely too!

Thanks Andrew
Appreciate you coming by mate. Yes it is no where near complete. Some of the timing is out and a few offkey notes here and there.

Spine-chilling...
...in a good way! This reminds me of Clannad with the ethereal vocals. Sound perfect as they are even if of a digital origin, although perhaps a real human could make some of it more legato if that's what you would like? Great build-up through the intro of the guitars and drums.

Atmospheric
Hi Gerald. Nice atmospheric piece with some wonderful piano accompaniment. The plugin vocals work quite well. I wondered whether the guitar was slightly out of sync a few times with the rest of the song when it came in? Just a thought. Regards, Peter.

Hi Gerald......
This mix has so much potential. Your ideas seem excellent to me.

Listening on headphones I noticed piano anomalies and guitar phrasing that needs tidying up but the work as it stands has to have those final touches because it will make this piece sound awesome.

Take care.

Paul

beautiful
and haunting. i love your subtle use of strings to support the song. i think these vox samples are really cool. i don't have a lot of feedback except what it seems you already know - timing is a little off in a few places. I would consider doing a lot more with percussion - get some powerful ethnic drums in there to compliment the vocals and use some more percussive elements to give a little more energy. i love the power of the e-guitar coming in. great stuff garni.

Very Interesting ......
..... are the vocal samples singing words? Hard to tell in spots .... could make for an interesting "tinker" .. heh heh heh

This and that
I love the suggestiveness of the Voxos vocals. It sounds like Latin; like it's the vocal equivalent of placeholder text you often see in certain digital writing templates. This gives the song a charming and enigmatic sense of ambiguity - just when you think it might be about this … it suddenly becomes more about that … depending on what words happen to come to mind as you try to unravel the cryptic text. I also like the shift from female to male voices. Who knows? maybe you will conceive of the perfect concept and a develop a great set of lyrics for this piece. However, by defining it, I think a large part of its mysteriousness may disappear. But … we have to go where these songs want to take us ….
