the changes Thanks so much for commenting. It's funny you mention changes, but the verse/chorus section chords were originally from two different songs and i decided to merge them. Check out my latest song called Eraser Head

Nice use of Reason! Are you using the Reason/Record combination? Love the funky bass and clear sound. Good work!! Check out my latest song called Trailed in the Mud

Thanks Glad you like it. There is no Record on this, nor any other acoustic recordings of my own. It's all Reason from MIDI. Check out my latest song called Eraser Head

Soul Hi Matthew. I like this. Most of my music is acoustic guitar based but this has some analog soul despite being all midi. The mix is solid. Enjoyed. Regards, Peter. Check out my latest song called Autumn Falling

Analogue Thanks a bunch Peter!! I'm glad you found it to be very analogue sounding, that was definitely the intention with this piece. Check out my latest song called Eraser Head

... Dig this one a lot. If I could have the patience to learn midi and synth stuff, this is the sound I would aim for. Glad you shared this one. Check out my latest song called E2A

Thanks! Yea, a lot of it really comes down to figuring out how to make sample instruments move and bend and become irregular in order to squeeze out convincingly acoustic music. Glad you liked it! Check out my latest song called Eraser Head

Very good mix! This is great - the performance and mix work well. What kind of keyboard do you use? I always was a bit intimidated by all the wiring in Reason - you seem to have it sorted out well. Check out my latest song called Tandoori

Thanks Mike! I've actually been using an old heavy DX-7 rigged through a MIDI to USB converter. Reason is a real time investment to learn, but once you're comfortable with how it works, it will take you quite far. Check out my latest song called Eraser Head

While clearly electronic, this piece has a lot of soul. Many of the individual tracks contain some nice human sounding nuance. I like the analog synth solo. Nice phrasing. Great production and mix!
