Description
Started in Garageband 11 and converted/finished in Logic Express 9. Funk piece with deep Moog Mini sampled bassline from AMG Expansion pack. Sort of reminds me of sousaphones. This is a bit of a break from lots of my iPad only compositions. I am trying to pick up/learn Logic 9 at the same time that my iPad ADD set in!

Nice.
Funky little ditty this is. However, I'm not sure that the bass you've chosen complements this that well. I think a more analogue rounded resonant bass would work better. Nevertheless a fun track. The picture is a nice touch. Really sets a good mental image for this. I'm now imagining a smoky hazy saloon with rodents in hats, suits, and monocles playing cards or something. Fun track.

Thanks for feedback!
Thanks for the feedback! I might experiment with bass sounds but I sort of like the Moog sample - first time I used that. I debated buying the Arturia plugin but resisted so far. Would be nice to have the full Mini Moog knobs to twiddle!

Still learning Logic 9 so this was a good transition effort for me to get familiar with channel strips, mixing options etc.
