Description
This song visited me late in the night, and its lyrics just came all in one session. I think the song's pretty easy to decipher. I found the image of writing on mirrors really interesting, and I wonder if I can take it further. The living room piano was its instrument of choice, and personally, it reminds me of sunny afternoons.

Lyrics
congratulate me
on my
seventeeth appearance
I knew i saw you yesterday
walking down that same street
you're the fragile master
an artful heathen maybe
I didn't call you so
don't think I still care
now i'm waking up like it's a Monday
last time I heard the sonic boom from your jetplane
I didn't think twice about marking that checklist
now I'm here in my room
I crumble into
a finer material fit for drinking
so if you seek me, i'm gone
but I left the light on
congratulate me
on my
seventeeth disappearance
curtains drawn again
leaving notes on reflective surfaces
so where are you now?
where am I now?
the fog is clearing
around the mango tree
where are you now?
where am I now?
on my
seventeeth appearance
I knew i saw you yesterday
walking down that same street
you're the fragile master
an artful heathen maybe
I didn't call you so
don't think I still care
now i'm waking up like it's a Monday
last time I heard the sonic boom from your jetplane
I didn't think twice about marking that checklist
now I'm here in my room
I crumble into
a finer material fit for drinking
so if you seek me, i'm gone
but I left the light on
congratulate me
on my
seventeeth disappearance
curtains drawn again
leaving notes on reflective surfaces
so where are you now?
where am I now?
the fog is clearing
around the mango tree
where are you now?
where am I now?

on a well written tune. Nice melodic changes in this. It's refreshing just to here a piano and a voice ... a good voice at that. This feels very natural ... heartfelt. Is that a real upright piano?
