heavens so near

an oldie -- I asked God help me pick another one to remake for Halp, flicked the trackpad and let iTunes land on a song. this one is what landed. it was originally recorded with Mattel Synsonics drum around 1983. I used a BPM counter and estimated 123. WHEN I DIALED IT IN WITH LOGIC IT MATCHED PERFECTLY. matching an analog drum part to a digital counter 28 years later is a miracle :-) as a homage I included the original sort of like Natalie and Nat King Cole (that was spooky) but in this case it's both me. you can hear Synsonics drum popping in a break there, with original Moog from back in the day. I do thank God for helping me with this song ;-) well, it is about His home! hope when I get there I can sing properly.
