NEED A SAX PLAYER! I'm not sure you do. This holds up well as is. Great composition and arrangement. A really fluid lead guitarist who could contribute a little Allen Holdsworth type shredding would also be nice. I'd ask Sigmund to contribute a chorus or 2! Mmmmmmm! Dig it!! I agree with the consensus, while a sax would be nice, this bed would support a serious guitar. Think Larry Carlton, or even Earl Klugh kind of playing... It might support a fretless bass melody too... This is a superior product though, love the changes, love the layering, love the use of tension... Can't wait to hear where it goes from here. Beautiful Yes sax would be a nice addition. What about a cool lonely trumpet. Whatever happens, don't bury that luscious piano bed. Super tight song. I think awigze has beat me to the punch on this and to be truthful, his style may mesh better with this tune. I'm more of a quick in and out rock/funk sax guy. Listen to my "Field Recordings of a New Species" tune (especially the last half) and my "Lighten Up" tune to get a taste of my style. In any event this is really nice. Wow... As it sits now, it is simply beautiful! However, a guitar would be something and I agree with Andy Sigmund would be awesome and if sax is what your looking for Andy is your man.
