Description
This is a song I wrote about 2 or 3 years ago and one that I really wanted to get a definitive version of, so where better than to look than right here on Macjams!
I started off this collab by throwing a PM out to Scott and Mike to see if they would come in with me on another song, when they said yes I started thinking about what else to add.
I knew I wanted keys on this song, having heard a few of Yves collabs I knew I wanted him in and as soon as I messaged him he came back eager and keen to help out.
The vocalist was a tricky one to sort out, at first I didn't know whether I wanted male or female or even a combination of both, I was trawling through so many singers trying to find the right one for this tune.
It wasn't until I was washing up one day (dull I know) and humming the tune out that I had a mini eureka moment. The only question was whether he would be happy to do something in a slightly different style.
I messaged Michael that evening and when he said he was happy to take a listen I still thought ok, its a long shot but maybe he will come in.
When he said yes I was delighted.
This has been a really good experience and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the guys on this, and to each of them I just want to say a really big thankyou.
