Only 4 years, huh? Well, you've made excellent use of them... Love the textures and colors... A mournful dirge at first, then a lithe Celtic flavored dance over it, then a rich string interlude... The tympani hits punctuate nicely. Love the tonic-subtonic ebb and flow... This is weighty, viscous music, leavened by the deft melodic choices... Just lovely... impressive work! Six-Nail-Coffin
This is gorgeous right off the bat and keeps going strong, love the depth and richness in the first movement...Mystery and wonder as the kettles kick in bringing a sense of majesty and antiquity...Then soaring lightness again...
This is absolutely fantastic.
